Hayley orrantia is a native of the United States. She is primarily an actress, but also an acrobat and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". Her definition of herself is a musician first and foremost. According to her, music is the first thing that interests her. It is something she has been dabbling in since the age of nine years old. At the age of 12 years old, music was significant enough that she was able to pursue a career in music. In 2013, she took up songwriting and recorded her first album. It has been non-stop ever since. Orrantia was born in America, has Hispanic heritage. Though she grew up speaking only English and has never lived in Mexico she is very proud of her Hispanic culture. She tries to keep it alive by studying Spanish and writing songs in the Spanish language. She has recorded an Spanish version of a song called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the first season during the summer of 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she was awarded four "yeses" which is a vote by the judges at The Seattle audition. Though she initially auditioned as a solo artist, at "Hollywood Week", she and three female performers were placed into an ensemble for the remainder in the selection process. They were eliminated from the program during the fifth live week.
