Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and is of Chinese heritage, yet her dad Winston Barrett Munn comes from an American family. Olivia was only 2 when her parents separated. She was raised by both her mother and stepfather who was a United States Air Force member. They left Oklahoma and lived in several places, but she lived the majority of her childhood in Tokyo. While in Japan, she was an actress at local theatre performances, and later was an Japanese modeling model. As the family retreated back to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Her acting journey began with a small part. It was then that her acting career took off when she was cast as Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-lensed TV show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she portrayed Rob Schneider's receptionist. Her show is hosted by G4 podcasts such as "The Daily Nut," "Formula D," along with "Formula D." Following the TV show Beyond the Break, she continues to browse. The black belt she holds is taekwondo. Her mother got married at the age of two years old, and was an Air Force Officer. While the family moved several times throughout her life, she was educated at Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather's military was stationed. The University of Oklahoma is where she pursued her journalism studies, along with minors in Japanese Drama, dramatic and arts.
