Ina-Garten
Ina Garten, an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget documents. Although she found her job to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she lost her interest in it and purchased a small speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make the shop extremely successful before she sold it. She then began to write her first cookbook. In the following years, numerous cookbooks were published, and she also contributed to magazine articles. A different hit was her Food Network Television show. The range of products includes kitchen equipment to ingredients as well as storage containers. Ina she is a self-taught cook, has never studied at an institution for cooking or an establishment. Her name is associated with her casual style of cooking and entertaining.
