Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. Ali MacGraw is known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. Her first job was as a photo assistant later moved into acting and modeling. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising young actress. MacGraw quickly became famous in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films MacGraw became the most popular female box office star across the globe. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was released. MacGraw is married three times.
